no, you are quite right. they scale the same. but remember scaling is based on raw marks. so equal raw marks scale the same, but as raw marks are not equal to aligned marks, the aligned marks you put into SAM will result in different raw marks. so the different marks scale differently. so...

they don't boost your uai rather they will lower the minimum uai you need to get in. you don't get scalled based on your school. you get scaled based on your marks in the subject and how the whole state goes.
