Even if you are doing Ext 2 maths, you are still meant to attend the 2u classes. But, I think that students doing Ext 2 maths should have to do the mathematics exam in the hsc, as well as the ext 1 and ext 2 exam.

back when i did it, i used "Engineering Studies: The Definitive Guide" by Paul L. Copeland i think the excel one is longer.. i don't know, i never used the excel one.

you havn't actually sat the hsc yet, so of course anything is possible. if you go to sydney boys then most likely even if you get a poor rank, if you can do well in the hsc you don't need to worry about your school assessments being too low.

I agree with pretty much what everyone else is saying. Powerpoint presentations should contain dot points or short sentences on the screen + diagrams and pictures where appropriate. the idea is you have the key points on the screen and you do the explaining, not put all the explanation on...

you would ask your teachers what they predict you will get as HSC marks with your current performance, and put those marks that your teacher tells you in.

no don't put in your raw marks. and don't put in them scaled to what you think, because SAM is designed to the the UAI scaling. you should enter your HSC marks.

you put in your HSC marks. the ones that you get on your HSC certificates. obviously you don't know these yet, so the whole point of SAM is to show you about what uai you would get with certain HSC marks. raw marks are quite different.
