Definitely get a results check for MX1 at the least in my opinion. Possibly go for a raw marks report and exam paper too.

Yeah. That's why it takes so long. State ranks are determined by factors including your final HSC mark, which requires attention of moderation. So I guess its once the moderating stage is complete, and a HSC mark is associated with a student number, then they can figure out who ranked in what...

I find it quite ridiculous that you get invited the day before if you get first in state, not like a week before or something. Like a few of them would probably have plans lol to do something else other than attend the ceremony. But given the nature of how long it takes to mark and stuff I get...

Nah don't need a blazer. A nice shirt or a nice jacket could do. Pants are a must. There are a bit of restraints on the shoes, but its something that can be worked around a bit more than the rest of the attire.

Maybe not HSC student. There are a few companies that might take first years. You literally just get out a yellow pages or look online and phone 100 companies until one accepts you. If you want to take the time to apply, go for it! The further in your program you get, the better chance you have...

This is pretty much my approach and hence the reason for my 6 day weeks at uni this past semester. And that includes roughly 2.5 to 3 hours of travel a day.

With UNSW Engineering you can get a 4 day timetable (with maybe one odd 1 or 2 hour lecture on the extra day like how I did this year for both semesters). With courses with about 12 contact hours a week at UNSW, if you are good enough at organising a timetable you can make one for 2 days only...

Tbh a real partner is someone you can tell everything and anything to. Hence that's where you can get all the deep and meaningful conversations (don't rely on though, I ain't an expert in this field). So yeah maybe talk about something which means a lot to both of you or something like that.
