I think the transcript at UNSW too have the completed degree program and respective marks to your courses, but if I recall correctly it doesn't include your WAM. As for the degree though, I have absolutely no idea. Probably best to ask your faculty.

Gen Ed is something you take outside your faculty (Engineering), so no COMP courses are allowed.

I reckon attending lectures is a good habit towards learning, only because I get easily distracted if a watch an ECHO360 video from home. The way how UNSW records its lectures is by audio and activities on the computer OR the use of a document camera. Its not the same as the recorded videos...

He told that he'll most likely be taking it 2nd semester, along with some other bloke, Jim Franklin. Having that said, he's been teaching in 2nd semester for a couple years now in a row.
