Yes, you can. If you've applied for Sydney Uni though I think you need to be on-campus for acceptance and enrolment (correct me here USyd'ers). If not, you can 'proxy' a person to do it for you. Otherwise for other unis, you can start enrolling right away after you've accepted your offer.

Yes, you can do that. Since you're a recent HSC school leaver and haven't completed 1 years (48UoC) worth of uni study yet, USyd will use your raw ATAR if you want to transfer during 2015 mid-year.
