    Studying for an "ugly" subject

I put more effort into it than 3-unit and Chem. Thought I would get b6. Nek minnit I get b4 :evilfire: I had 12 units and eco by far was my weakest. I didn't study for it but still ended up with b4 somehow (I answer every question using the science method I learnt for Physics and Chem lol)...

    Shaky Legs ):

^ Don't take any meds until you have spoken to your doctor. When I haven't rode my bike for ages, and then start riding again, after the ride my legs are also a bit shaky. It happens when I run and stuff as well (for soccer). What you need to do is stop doing leg exercises for the day and just...

    any good laptops?

After research it is not that great of a processor. It only has 2 cores, which is not that great. It can hyperthread double (so 4), which is still pretty bad (p4HT can do 2). Its not all that powerful. Realistically, its about 2 times more powerful than a p4HT, which is not too great. The...

    Should I do medicine?

This is very true. By graduating in Law and Science, you would be favourable to employers in environmental policy, as you have knowledge of both.

    Calculating heat lost (transmission lines)?

So in a conductor, the higher the current flow, the more the electrons are flowing and thus the more kinetic collisions occur in the metallic lattice of the transmission lines. The lower the current flow, the less kinetic collisions that occur. Now, if the Voltage is high, there is a high...

    Pictures of aesthetically pleasing cars

Nah this is what happened: Car auctions are advertising it and are putting it up for sale amongst the vicinity within other cars. Someone was covering the brake in the car in front and thus produced this red effect. Jokes.

    any good laptops?

Thanks for clarifying that. I meant multimedia in terms of the "basic functions" I was kinda referring to the programming side but OP did not specify that use as a possibility. And I can't believe I said "ios" instead of OSX. If that is your comparison point then one could argue Pentium 4 HT...

Is it worth doing a double degree in commerce and science?

This. I'm not sure, but I think a portion of Commerce is research in terms of financial advising and stuff (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Can you imagine yourself doing this type of research at one stage OP?

    any good laptops?

Macbooks are good for basic computer functions such as watching videos, net surfing and making simple documents. However, if you want to use heavy software's, simulators, games, coding, etc, then never use ios. For these, you should always use windows or linux.

    scholarships - work experience

You said you played sports. That is definitely group/team work. And don't completely lie in your application. That is the stupidest thing you can do and works in the opposite way.

    quick question, regarding syllabus prelim

As many as you need. I recommend keeping them as short as possible, but covering all dot points in detail. I only made notes for the first and third module and had around 80 pages (however my notes were too dense and summarised all the things out of syllabus as well). Plus, I didn't read the...

How bad is English Standard really?

Goes and posts another BOS'ers marks :/ Yeah it was above 97. There is nothing wrong with scaling in Standard. However, aligning is horrendous. Getting a raw mark worth 85 in standard is the equivalent of a raw mark that gets a 93ish in Advanced. Scaling is pretty much the exact same though.
