Just one thing on Chemical engineering. The type of jobs varies from monitoring and designing plants or to research (This is actually under the Industrial Chemistry degree). Once you finish with a plant, you move on to the next job, similar to contracting. Not sure if this happens for research...

Nah man that is the usual for those subjects every year. Look at the database. 95 raw got a 95 external for Deswa last year.

Yeah it was pretty high this year. I'm guessing state rank was 94+ raw this year, which is super high. After checking when I got home after the exam, I thought I would get around 80/100 raw. Did not expect it to be around 85 though.

I must have gotten only 74/100 raw for Chem for 88 exam mark. And for English, I must have gotten 70/105 raw. Big jump from what I thought I would get (85+/105 raw).

That's true, but OP should learn to ignore them.

I got 73 in eco lmao. Probably got around 65/100 raw. I thought I would have gotten 10/20 mc, 30/40 short answers, 13/20 for both essays. Seems legit. That volumes working was worth at least 2/4. That's pretty bullshit. But nice marks mate :)

Get a job. Train hard before soccer this year. Be proud of my soccer effort this year. WAM 75+ Hit Maturity. Make something cool at home with my collection of electrics and motors. EDIT: lose weight to what I think is tangible to my situations.

Yeah this. Also, you may want to hang up a few detailed periodic tables which have the uses of the element around your room/house. I did from Year 8 onwards and I remember random stuff here and there on different elements. But generally, the info is quite useless for preliminary/HSC subjects...
