Ahh there we go were on the same page now. No your school report mark has nothing to do with your internal assessment mark and external assessment mark. Thats why only ranks are important. Because some schools may set easier exams than other schools or have more lenient marking guidelines

if youre saying your external mark is 70 then its kinda yes and no. Yes in that your external mark affects how the cohort went overall so it will affect moderation to a degree, by how much i dont really know. But they wont give you a better internal mark if you get 90 external rather than 70...

Nope it gets moderated. Dont worry about this stuff too much though because HSC is over now and you cant really change anything

Yep. If youre ranked first your internal is the highest external, and if youre ranked last your internal is the lowest external. If you have any other rank your internal mark is moderated according to how well your cohort does in the HSC (external) exam

A raw mark of 45% will get aligned to something higher and that will be your internal mark if that happened to be the lowest external mark. You keep your own external mark but they are completely independent. They wont align your internal mark better if your external mark is amazing. In the end...

The gap between 32 and 33 doesnt really mean anything in terms of your internal assessment mark because 33/33 means you will get the lowest external mark as your internal mark. And im not sure which will count sorry

I dont know because i dont do vet courses, but I heard that vet courses only go on external mark
