Re: Assessment ranks are in! Not sure sorry, its hard to estimate an atar for a person who has ranks close to the bottom of their cohort because no one can really tell how bad they are. Getting an atar of 70 definitely isnt impossible though for her.

Re: Assessment ranks are in! They dont scale marks depending on your school. They align your internal marks depending on how well your cohort does in the HSC (external) exams. And in any case the lady mentioned her sisters school rank was 100ish

+1, I picked 12 units because I thought it would provide me with a safety net but it just led to procrastination. I could have used the time i had to spend going to physics class to study all my other subjects.

Yeah you probably did improve, but how do you know how everyone else in your cohort went throughout the year? You cant say you should be higher than 27 unless your school had previously told you your rank was better than 27
