I really suck at volumes, but from a glance it just looks like its pi. Integral of 0-12 36 + 21h - 2h^2 dh =pi(36h+(21/2)h^2-(2/3)h^3) =pi(432+378-144) =666pi? Don't take my word for it though...wait till someone remotely intelligent posts :P

Last year's trial was reasonably merciful...which is bad for me because they'll write a hard one this year :S But they had to write a reasonable paper given the ridiculous 2004 HalfYearly in which over half the candidature got less than 50%

Isn't it just pi/4? Let a=tan^-1 (1/2) Let b=tan^-1 (1/3) Then tan(a+b)=1 (from part one) Therefore a+b=pi/4 So tan^-1(1/2)+tan^-1(1/3)=pi/4

True. They didn't change the HSC for 30 yrs, they're not gunna change it again for a loooooong time. I think that attitude is most definitely a DIRECT reason for the lack of a fair HSC. Besides; being blase isn't an attitude, it's a lifestyle:P
