Techniques to put in short story

What techniques you use will depend on the writing style and the plot dynamics of your story. Seeing as we don't know your story, it would be hard for us to determine what techniques would be considered "good" in the context of your work. Some techniques lend themselves more to certain...

Are you studying BA? Please give advice!

As far as unit reviews go I would check the subject review thread (http://community.boredofstudies.org/114/university-sydney/95874/subject-reviews-pdf-compilation.html); BOS members have contributed a number of reviews over the years in order to inform people about what to expect from certain...

    1st year maths subjects easiness

While I'd definitely recommend mathematics if you like it and are good at it, there are quite a few WAM booster subjects that I think would be a hell of a lot easier. Have you considered any WRIT subjects? PHIL1012? For your degree in particular I hear MKTG1001 and INFS1000 are pretty easy as well.

    Hpsc2101

I'll probably be doing this unit as well. Are the lectures recorded? One of the three lectures conflicts with a tutorial of mine.

    Usyd Timetables :)

It's a week's (5 hours) worth of lectures and tutorials for 13 days. So yeah, I end up having the same number of contact hours as I would during the normal semester.

Is it worth doing a Arts degree?

All knowledge is helpful knowledge. If you're interested in certain disciplines in the Arts faculty, then by all means go for it. In your case though there are other options if all you want to do is study a language. Have you considered a Diploma of Language Studies? Most universities would...

    Sydney Winter School-Worth it?

I've done Summer School before, and I'm doing Winter School this year. There are a number of advantages; smaller classes, more focused learning, faster paced, much more access for help. I would definitely recommend it. Whether you are willing to give up the majority of your holidays is up to...

    Arts/science USYD. Help please:)

I was going to do four (Finance, Mathematics and/or Statistics and one or two I haven't decided on yet). Although for me it is a bit more manageable because my course goes for 5 years, while Arts/Science goes for 4.

    Advice needed

Doing your own self study always helps; perhaps work through some HSC books at your local library on mathematics, chemistry and biology to get you up to speed. I'd also recommend doing some of the university's bridging courses if you can afford it. Mathematics and Biology won't be offered again...

    Arts/science USYD. Help please:)

It's up to you how many majors you complete. Minimum you have to do is two (one from each faculty). Most people, however, would do three. With careful planning you could even fit four in if you wanted to.

    Comm/Sci UNSW vs Comm/Sci USYD?

In addition to what Trebla said, USYD's program is also a year longer, so you can cover more content. Again, it comes down to what you consider to be important. Weigh up the features of each program and see which one you prefer.

    Comm/Sci UNSW vs Comm/Sci USYD?

Both universities are great for that program. You can't go wrong with either. Go to Open Days and decide which university best suits you. Seeing as it's a personal choice, and we don't know you very well, other people's opinions on the matter would be largely irrelevant.
