This has got to be the 100th thread i've seen where people are worried about scaling. The truth is... it doesn't fucking matter, just do well in the subjects and you'll get a great ATAR. Any combination of subjects can lead to a good ATAR if you do well enough.

Probably not. I've never heard of it, although if someone in DFR/ADFA directly offers it to me/recommends that I apply for it, then I'll give it a try.

I do Catholic studies instead of SOR, and it basically is a free period. People just pull out maths books and start doing homework and revising, and yet i'm still ranked 1st in the year in it. Just pick whichever you enjoy more. I personally wouldn't enjoy either, but that's me. And ftr, SOR...

Yeah, if you fail it's fine, as long as you make an attempt - so basically, turn up for tests and hand the assignments in.

You asked that if you come 2nd in internals, do you automatically get 2nd in the external exams. Learn to phrase what you want to get across properly.

Of course not, someone could do extremely well in the internal assessments then bomb out and fail their external examination.

Tell the teachers that it doesn't matter what you get, because it has no reflection of your mark in the HSC.
