    Am I aiming too high?

Yeah, and it's 2008 UAI's as well (even though converting from UAI to ATAR will have almost no difference), which is why I want to know where the OP got the current ones from. UAC guide just has the usual A+C for additional testing. :)

    Expelled with one day left.

LOL what the fuck? Anyway - OP, what did you actually do with the water balloon? Did you throw it at another person, or just throw it at a building?

    Am I aiming too high?

Where are you getting this from? The ATAR for B.Aeronautical Engineering is 85. Plus... if you haven't already applied for ADFA 2010 then it's probably too late, they've already been doing interviews for ADFA 2011 for quite some time. To quote the site:

    Estimate my ATAR

Those ranks are awesome, i'd say 90+ easily.

    PSP Go

Any expandable memory capabilities, or is it the 16GB flash and that's it?

    The Coles Thread

Could be your resume, or you selected bad days as preferences to when you'll work.

Better to work in bigger or smaller store?

Ah alright I see. I suppose it depends on the store then, I work with only one other person my age, most are mid 20's and late 30's, but they're all awesome, and we can have a joke/laugh/talk while working. My manager is a bit of an idiot though. So yeah, depends on the store.

Better to work in bigger or smaller store?

Can you elaborate on why (more than you already did), since this makes absolutely no sense to me. KFC you get paid less, and are trapped inside a small place preparing greasy food out the back, or serving customers with fast food. At least at Coles we can move around the whole store rather than...
  9. TheStallion

    define ...

Hey - he actually gave you a helpful point. You could find the definition in 2 seconds doing that. He didn't know that you had already tried it.

    Maths Question

To find the vertex, find the axis of symmetry, using -b/2a like you already know. Axis of symmetry is an x value, so sub the axis of symmetry in the equation of the parabola to get the vertex. No idea past that - we haven't done the focus/focal point/anything like that in 2U yet. Our class is...

What are your plans for year 12?

Work hard and get a respectable ATAR. I don't need a "great" ATAR, but decent marks throughout the year in every subject would be nice.
  12. TheStallion

    Physics to Bio?

I'm surprised that your school even allows you to swap to bio for year 12.

    Geography or Seinor Science

Senior Science is easier but scales like shit. Geography is pretty enjoyable, but at the same time has a higher workload, is probably harder than Senior Science, but it does scale better. Either way, he should just pick which one he enjoys more/which he thinks he can do best in for the HSC.

    Any last words?

Says the guy who did his HSC 2 years ago.

    Mental Crisis

Alright, lets see here: 1) Yeah, write practice essays and give them to your teacher. Get your teacher to give you an essay question, go home, write the essay, give it to the teacher the next day. They'll mark it for you and show you how to improve. 2) General Maths shouldn't be hard to catch...
