    N Determination?

Yeah, and seriouisly, saying you can do it but hate it makes you sound like a wanker who doesn't care about their schooling.

How fast are YOU going now?

Mine fails compared to you guys, but it still gets the job done.

    The Woolworths Thread

Nightfill you work nonstop man... it might be boring work, but at least you're doing something.

    enrollment inquiry

You apply only to ADFA, not to anything else. You go through the whole application process with DFR, no other parties involved. The UAI for Aeronautical Engineering is 85.0, but i'm not sure if that's the same as the ENTER required. Even if it is, you shouldn't get rejected for .5 - the great...

    Alienation Additional Materials

I suppose you could use Edward Scissorhands - it's extremely easy to understand, and should fit perfectly with the theme of alienation.

    2009 Preliminary Yearlies Discussion Thread

re: Preliminary Yearlies Discussion Thread Creative writing and the English AoS sucks. At least it's my first exam on Monday though, so plenty of space to study for the more important stuff.

    SDD Prelim Exam Papers

My prelim exam is Wednesday, but my teacher didn't give us any past papers. Luckily though, we wrote revision notes as a class, and he hinted that a lot of the stuff (if not all) will be in the test. Having said that - the prelim exams are written by the school, so it can vary a lot depending...

    Weekend jobs

I work at Coles, and even though on the application originally I said I could work 4/7 days a week, at the start of each week, we ring our manager to organise what days we work for that week. It's extremely flexible, and despite the crap of 4/7 a week on my application, I only work 2-3, and the...

    2009 Preliminary Yearlies Discussion Thread

re: Preliminary Yearlies Discussion Thread Yay, I start mine Monday. I'm screwed for English, but everything else should be fine.

I'm failing year 11....does that I mean I won't be allowed to go on to year 12?

This and the post above me is correct. As long as you hand the assignments in on time, the mark you get can't hold you back from going into year 12.

    Dont know what to do!!!

If you think you can commit to doing 4U maths, then do it. If you don't, then don't do it. It's what you think you're capable of and whether you know you're going to make a huge effort in the subject - not what your parents or anyone else thinks.

    does scaling REALLY matter?

    This. Read it again OP.

    Physics or Geography

I enjoy physics more, but I still love geography. Having said that, it depends on what you're interested in at uni. Physics is a must for me at uni, so obviously it takes priority for me, so it really depends on your future plans.
