Not that I know of, but don't quote me on that Yes, except for comp eng, seng and binf. I'm guessing this will depend on what you combine with. Depends on your career path! It would give you an edge, but as far as I know your specialisation doesn't appear on your testamur.

If you have trouble seeing how these sorting algorithms work, you can first try and trace it out on paper. You can also Google the thousands of sorting applets to see how they work.

When you're only in 3 days a week, and classes are 6-9pm you really don't want to be doing public transport :P (that and driving to uni at those times means a 20-30min trip, instead of an hour+)

You can look at the code that runs when you click the button. The first thing to try would be to take the algorithms from your textbook and have a go at converting it to code yourself.

Cracked LCD, too much pressure on it, dropped it, whatever. Cross your fingers its covered by warranty otherwise its going to cost you about half of what the laptop was worth to replace.

In the years I've been using computers (my own desktop computers at least), I've only ever had one hard disk die. Everyone around me seems to suffer constant hardware failure problems though.
