Well I got the Excel one and it's good because the syllabus outcomes are right beside the info that covers them. I only briefly flicked through the Dot point book when I was in the store but it looks like it has just revision questions, doesn't it?

At this stage that is more than enough... if you keep that up you will probably ace your yearlies in term three.

If homework counts, about 2-4 hours a day. On weekends about 10-15 hours (over two days, of course). I don't go to a good ranked school and sometimes get distracted in class so home study is my only hope for good marks. Also my Maths Ext. exam is in just over a week and I am seriously freaking out.

The Top ATAR in 2011 was 98.25, not bad for an average school :)

We learned them towards the end of the year. It was one of the optional topics I believe and not all that detailed. Do not worry, something as crucial as functions should be touched upon in the course.

Classical Music is alright though. Personally it helps me if I study with Baroque music playing (i.e Bach, Scarlatti and the such).

Same no-one chose Geo in my year. Our yr 10 teacher was particularly pissed since he is head of HSIE and spent the whole of last year dropping (often not very subtle) hints about how HSC Geography is such a great subject...since we were in the top class he acted like it was an obligation of ours...
