Transit officers to be replaced by Police

Police is bad idea because you got $200 fine from a transit officer? Was that supposed to make sense?

Transit officers to be replaced by Police

It's not stolen........... I'd rather police, transit officers don't do anything nor have much powers.

Tuition for mathematics, Tuition for Physics (Cambridge Coaching)

I never checked but I don't think it's in the data sheet - hence won't be asked in HSC However, NEAP exams always tend to go off topic so they might have it. And even if they would have it, it would be some basic question. Not to the detail that the worksheet went to. As for the hate...

Tuition for mathematics, Tuition for Physics (Cambridge Coaching)

Stop bragging dude. dylanamali did extremely well considering his extension 2 score. Besides, your 3U top score of 47/50 isn't overly impressive. I beat that without even going to a tutor while sitting it last year. Anyway, I was looking at your sample HSC physics worksheet. I don't think the...

    2011 HSCers offer tutoring?

I'd avoid 2011 hscers Many are teaching mainly for money. You can tell because they are just teaching all their subjects and don't specialise in any of them - key sign they're in it for the money. Best to look for a 2011 tutor who teaches 1-2 subjects, instead of all of them. Also, they...

    exact values

it was simply an alternative (which I used).

    exact values

Here's my way of memorising: All you need to do is just memorise the first row (sin row) Then, for cos, it's just the same numbers as the sin row except its backwards. Eg. sin30 = 1/2. Therefore, going backwards, cos60=1/2 Then, for tan, it's just the sin value divided by the cos value...

Do all points for assessing/evaluating need evidence?

If I'm talking about ethanol fuel's advantage, and I mention it has a lower ignition temperature than petrol, do I need to provide the temperatures, or can I just say: ethanol has a lower ignition temperature than petrol, thus, is easier to combust? Same if I mention flash points and boiling points

    Is 'isomer' in the syllabus?

I remember it came in 2011 exam

    Titration help

Say I'm doing sodium carbonate - nitric acid titration. The volumetric flask contains distilled water + sodium carbonate --> primary standard 1) What goes in the burette? 2) What goes in the pipette? 3) What goes in the conical flask?

Terry Lee's 'mental method' for partial fractions allowed?

Yeah, I guess I'll write out the steps May as well just do it by showing working out in first place :O So cool :) When would you know when to use this?
  16. S

Terry Lee's 'mental method' for partial fractions allowed?

Are we allowed to use his mental method in exam, as in show no working at all? For example, can you straight out say: \frac{2x+4}{(x-2)(x^2+4)}=\frac{1}{x-2}-\frac{x}{x^2+4} If you were to show working, you'd have to sub in numbers and equate coefficients.

    Transfer to Harvard Med?

sorry, i have no idea what that meant. Anyway, probably won't reply, australian open infinitely more interesting than this forum.

    Transfer to Harvard Med?

that's a joke - not a dream, there's an obvious distinction between the two. And yes, he'll realise it soon.
