How hard is it to get a 90+ mark in English?

Yeah, actually I'll check. Ah man, the stats aren't THAT great, although it does make me feel more confident :D. But I mean, how hard is it to get one?? Lol, and I have no idea what you said michaeljennings because it says the message is hidden.

How hard is it to get a 90+ mark in English?

No, I'm not fine. Firstly, I never said I go to a top 3 school. Secondly, that doesn't mean we're particularly good in English. Look at the top achiever's in English. It's one of the few major subjects where selective schools DON'T dominate in. So no, it really doesn't matter what school I'm in...

How hard is it to get a 90+ mark in English?

Hey, I'm getting worried for next year because the only thing stopping from getting a 99.5+ atar is getting a good mark for english. I'm really hoping for a mark of 90+ but how common is it? It's my lowest rank being 30/160+ students. What rank should I be getting to sustain a 90+...

    UMAT anyone? (no prep courses)

No I don't think that PDF's been updated. Which isn't good, since there have been lots of changes and removals

Mother: I need you to catch the bus tomorrow Daughter: I need to get to work by 9am. You have to drive me. Mother: I'm sorry, I have a doctor's appointment at that time so you are going to have to catch the bus Daughter: But... to go to work on time I will need to wake up at like 6.30am Mother...

Tbh, didn't really like it. I knew about it a few years ago. I don't think it's even been updated.

For yours, spiralflex, I said B (although not sure if dot answer is what's it supposed to be) - Obv. each shape/colour is in each column/row thus it's B/D - If you look at each shape from black->grey->white, the dot moves anti clockwise. Thus B would be right. I've done so many hard maths...

What comes next? Can be guessed, but there MUST be a reason provided. Best question to date (friend gave me).

Lots of sources. It's hard to understand (and hard to explain by typing) but look at it like this: Say you have a $50 item and want it to be $100. You'd increase the price by 100% to get to $100, right? Using you way, you would say increase price by 200%.

    UMAT anyone? (no prep courses)

Haha, this is the type of stuff for section 1, hence I find it quite hard since they always try to trick you. It's C Assume the price was $100. The correct price is $160 and incorrect price is $40. NOW! DON'T BE FOOLED! You need to increase by $120 to get to $160. Thus, it's a 300% increase...

    UMAT anyone? (no prep courses)

Yep. Please try this (no calculator allowed): When the price of gold went up, a jeweller raised the prices on certain rings by 60%. On one ring, however, the price was accidently reduced by 60%. By what percent must the incorrect price be increased to reflect the proper new price? a) 60%...

I guess so. I wouldn't agree with quiet. You need to be talkative and interactive to 'extract' info from patients in the best meaningful way.

But for section 2, you can never be sure that you have the right answer. Like, how should I know whether the gut is ashamed, upset, angry or embarrassed? I hate the fact that it's the most correct answer and you need to keep rereading to get a better answer.

You're thinking more of GPs or dentists. Surgeons don't necessarily have to have all those traits because the patient's probably asleep :P.

    UMAT anyone? (no prep courses)

Nah, most people can finish section 2 (even though my english is pretty crap). I find section 3 quite easy since I'm used to all the various tricks that can happen in patterns. I find that section 1 is very time stressful Imo in terms of difficulty, 2>1>3.

    UMAT anyone? (no prep courses)

Haha, act as calm as possible, so I can beat you :D Makes 1 less person out of the thousands I would need to beat to get a high percentile :)

    UMAT anyone? (no prep courses)

Yeah, and Dr. Fresh was in the 100th percentile (assuming the marks weren't edited) Thanks for the info. I can manage 99 ATAR but high 80's percentile :( Daaaamn, can't assure that. I heard for section 1 that it's just best to go as quickly as possible. As in, if you think you'll spend a few...

Ah, ok, thanks then :) I was just reading, it says you need a score of 59 if you get a 99.00 ATAR for UNSW. Do you know roughly what that percentile is? What? 99.95 to get in USyd? Damn. Is UWS a good place for med? And lol, you just needed 95 ATAR if you wanted to get in to UNSW. Good work
