History Extension Predictions/Thoughts (2 Viewers)

basically 2 debates, with positive and negative views + the historians who taught certain ways abt her because of her context!
would you consider 4 paragraphs?
debate 1 - positive
debate 1 - negative
debate 2 - positive
debate 2 - negative

and then thread the concept/argument of like context etc throughout?

also another question but ive seen an essay that brings up a case study in q1... are we allowed to do this?

are they allowed to ask for 3 areas of debate in case study?
they probably can cause they explicitly say that you have to do 3 - but i doubt they will
In the current syllabus theyve asked to do 1/2 or more every time except once when they specified you had to do one

guys please enlighten a curious individual - how does history extension work? I know you guys have a major work/project thing, but what is all this about case studies? what is the exam actually on?

It's about historiography so the study of history as opposed to specific events. Think like what does history achieve and why, what can history be used for, what is the purpose of history and what should the purpose be. We do a unit on constructing history which looks at history over time, it's purpose, and different philosophies, things like that, and then we also do a case study on historiographical issues surrounding an event or policy or whatever else (we did appeasement) and study the debates surrounding it. The exam is 2 essays, one on the first part and one on the second
