Is it bad if I start off tommorow with mod b? I feel like if I start with mod a, then I might start to lose my insightfulness for mod b as I begin to get tired.

in the trial i did b, a, c and that did me just fine? honestly as long as you can maintain focus and you use reading time well to plan out your arguments, you'll be fine no matter the order. i did paper 1 completely backwards even the comprehension. whatever works best for you is the best option!!

should i go for a mod c poem? if the prompt is good for it
i remember when i was still taking e2 my teacher was super stressing like never write a poem for any sort of creative unit because theyre marked so holistically that it's really difficult to get a good mark

a mod A extract is really unlikely since it would pull your focus too far to one text, and 2 extracts would just be cruel.... so i guess it is possible since this is nesa after all

I did mod B in the trials first and will be doing mod B first tmr. Not only is it my strongest essay but also I think its the best one to get out of the way as usually its the one that requires personal insight.

The order doesn't really matter though as long as you pace yourself well and have enough time to finish everything.

I would definitely not recommend doing soley a poem. Mainly because of how well crafted it has to be. Obviously in 40/45 mins (or however much you allocate to mod c) NESA isnt expecting you to have a fully fleshed out perfect piece. The big problem with a poem in my opinion is that it heavily relies upon some sort of deep, well thought out meaning. Not only do you not have the time to refine the piece to make each part/line purposeful, impactful and symbolic, you also have to remember you're competing with everyone else in the state who is writing 800 - upwards of 1000 words for a creative AS well as the fact that you have to bank on the marker actually understanding your poem's deep meaning, which usually comes at a cost of time and analysis. The problem with that is the markers don't have time (ive heard from past hsc markers they spend like 5 minutes a script) either to critically analyse your poem. Even if there is a reflection where you can explain some of your symbolism and whatever, in my opinion I think its a bad idea to do a poem.

This is also in part what I've heard from my teachers as well. But at the end of the day your choice to make

Should I include personal voice in my mod b essay? I’m not sure about using first person
