    1131/1141 Assumed Knowledge Quiz

It is very simple. Because it is so simple I just rushed through my other 4 remaining ones in 20 minutes because of how boring they were just now. Unfortunately I dropped one mark from rushing in two of them so I'm getting 23/24 because they were too boring.

Regarding this, they should just make it part of the syllabus soon.

    Fun linear algebra exercise.

brb in 3 months when I've done all the matrices and vectors stuff in detail.

How to ask this person out?

She probably used that to gloat a bit. But anyway I would not recommend her to answer because of your little album of.......

    nth derivative is itself

    I did something mid-last year which I found to be an awesome little idea: The result was: \frac{d^n}{dx^n} \ x^n = n! Or for a more general case: \frac{d^k}{dx^k} \ x^n = \frac{k!}{(n-k)!} \ x^{n-k}

Yeah I would say that. Oh and a backflip. But it was fun (nothing completely crazy just the usual bbq type stuff but a bit more loose). That's pretty bad. Imo not worth going. But then again my definition of fun is adrenaline filled stuff where you have full control and remember every...

    UNSW BSoc O-Camp

So apparently a lot of crazy stuff happened at elsoc bbq on thursday. Source: I was there ;) It wasn't that crazy but it was definitely not what I expected.

    What is a "load"

It can be but generally this leads to giving people the misconception of what the load actually is. Speaking of this, its the reason why we don't see negative voltage in HSC. Its because the question is always worded in a way to prevent negatives.

I did one test and it was out of 6...... And it said 6/6 = 100% at the end. But do I have to do more of them or not? This Wednesday morning it closes I think (or maybe its afternoon I'm not sure but its some time on this Wednesday).

    What is a "load"

In the context of circuits, its the energy supplied across an element in the circuit and the corresponding drop. For simplification, think of it as the voltage across the element. That is the HSC "simplification".

How to ask this person out?

You replied here but didn't reply in the automobiles section tsk tsk tsk. Nah jokes the section is not active at all at the moment so its slippable-differentiable Yes I just had to do that.

    AC Generators and Slip Rings

Re: AC generators and AC voltage. Whole point of it was to be funny as if a first two weeks EE student can answer the biggest question of the 21st century. :haha: So yeah I changed the name of the replying bit of the thread. Its not proof for the generators bit (that's where B6 source comes...

^^^That's a relief because I was thinking of trying one out first to see what I should read to get the highest result possible in the next 4 attempts. 1/5 counted is good for me.

    AC Generators and Slip Rings

Re: AC generators and AC voltage. AC generator's need slip rings. A commutator wouldn't work at all for AC because of the direction required for the current. Yes there is AC Voltage. This is called continuous/analog voltage and has many applications. AC Voltage can be expressed as a...
