Pretty much. Oh and the fact that if I match a WAM somewhat to a few BoS'ers I might join the WAM competition for semester 2.

    Electronic Dance Music

I reckon icd and ready for the weekend were the best. Though icd has some really wacky ones (and drug referenced lyrics) which kinda ruin them in a sense. Some of the ones in RftW are just shifted towards edm a bit too much. 18 months is just something completely different and I think its...

    Electronic Dance Music

Maybe I have a different definition to electronic then..... What I mean is repetitive use of a range of beats (so the exact same 8 notes in a set), but the amount of sets are not limited. So the set has discrete values (essentially digital with any amount of bits), and there are as many...

Yeah that's the only problem I have. But I don't mind too much because I still keep contact somehow with others.

I got 87% in a different one. Then I got pissed because I'll never get a chance to get easy marks like that in that course again haha. On the upside I learnt the basics of MAPLE. It was a fun experience. Much more different to the typical Geogebra or LaTex inputs.

    Does engineering get more interesting

Physics is quite over emphasised with all the assessments in it. Its has the least interesting theory atm. The labs are kinda fun though (the best part of Physics). But other than that the maths is awesome. And in my elec subjects we are already drilling into making our own circuits.... So its...

You can find parking in the suburbs submerged near the military parking area. There are alleyways that extend and have room for parking. Meanwhile I have to mount the kerb at my train station just to park because I got there late (and by late I mean 8:30am haha).

I enjoy the humble private life more. I doubt I miss out on much. Most of the stuff I've heard from friends is stuff I would rather miss out on. Anyway I don't want to judge other people, nor let them judge me through the interwebz. I'm one of those people who thinks that not only must we...

In response to rep/pm: Haha yeah there is a reason why you don't hear from me outside of here. But in the end I will most likely never make an account. inb4 I make one in a few years time. I'm happy with how I am at the time. LG.

    Top 'speed' done and where?

That's just silly^. Its not a matter of losing your P's. Its a matter of killing someone, either yourself or others.

Well I'm aiming to get good marks in it so whatever goes is fine. Logic gates are assumed knowledge within the first 3 weeks in a course I'm already doing :haha:

Always go to sleep after school for around 1-2 hours

I'll just quote what I said from another thread on a similar manner and what used to work for me:

    Benefits of taking advanced units?

Generally it has some benefit in future courses ("units") later on. Another BoS'er once said that they did a higher maths course than a friend and a year later they came across something which was barely new to the maths student who did the higher course the year before, but was challenging...

    Always tired

My suggestion: Exercise your self a lot one evening around 6pm-8pm then have a shower and light dinner and sleep before 10pm (you'll sleep easily). (It works for me with training). Also, you need to actually have the willpower to not let yourself sleep in the afternoons because it destroys...

    Transferring courses/university now

You have to be careful though. You have to physically go to the school office and actually get them to sign you out of it. I don't think you can add or drop courses after the 9th of March, hence you have to get the school that you are doing the course in to formally sign you out.

    How to improve handwriting?

I had this problem and still do. It helped to make it neater by writing more slowly and smaller. You should see my Physics paper and how bad the writing is..... Yet I still did not lose marks for anything involving writing that could not be read.

I will have to do it next semester and have no experience what so ever with C. Though due to a current course I am doing, I have to practically master Boolean algebra this semester. But then again I don't think Boolean has much to do with C.

    MATH1141 Question Worked Solutions

Idk about the majority of people but doing a second year course now I know its much more difficult. Plus, I have textbooks atm which can be used now and for other courses in the future. So as long as I try to read over the textbooks I can get ahead :p Oh and btw, I actually was fully aware of...

    MATH1141 Question Worked Solutions

Its parabolic.... I tried that method and got 3.6, it was wrong, gave it a good thought, and you actually need to calculate it for when h=0.171, not h=0.19. The final answer was 3.8 But nevertheless all the sillies I made shamefully decreased my mark to just below 80%.

    MATH1141 Question Worked Solutions

Don't worry too much about it though. The notation and theory is slightly altered to HSC version at the moment. And plus the transition is a bit more difficult than most think. Most likely next year or something we will know what to do right from the start and will be on top of all the work.
