heyy..just wondering what is the deal with laptops at uws...do many ppl bring them? or would i look like a fish out of water if i took mine to a lecture? Coz its just that i type faster than i can write..and its also neater.... thx !

ohh im driving to penrith campus by the way..and also coz im going to be at both werrington sth and kingswood campus..do i need 2 seperate ones..or just one??

okay, i am not officially confused about the whole paying for parking system at uws, i was planning to get just a yellow parking permit, but ive been told by ppl that u r not guarenteed a parking space..so they suggested that i get a red permit, where you are guarenteed to get a space... but...

my careers advisor from last year said that if we maintain a credit average, we can transfer into pretty much any course we want with uws, coz they have some guarenteed transfer, something which none of the other unis had.. but might have to clear that up with someone that has changed courses...

dont worry, i think uws is just playing with us first years minds...to psych us all out so when we FINALLY get there.. we will be packing ourselves and have a reoccuring feeling of first day of skool and high school...that evil institution!

so its pretty much yr 10 stats...YAY!

the whole unconfirmed thing happened to me as well..i was scared as, but after i clicked the confirm button, the next day i signed on, every subject had confirmed on it..it just takes them a while to get everything sorted for first years...but with webmail..hmm thats another story...

ahh thats good to hear that its not going to be superhard maths...actually its not that i cant do maths..i just really hate maths... but if its more sciency type of maths i should be fine with coping with it coz i did hsc chem and physics

OH how rude! but yeh some funny stories coming from enrolment day, handing in my forms the dude i had was like..heyyy how u doen..(he was actually kinda young:|) how sleazy lol.. but i was just like... okay let me out of here, and the last lady was the one that said "have a gr8 day at uws"...

okay i dont know whether this has been covered in other threads, but i was wondering if you's recomment to have a tutorial right after the lecture, or whether i should wait like an hour, or even a day?? arghh so confused i dont know..

i had my aas today and i had received my id card just after i handed my forms in, and they were giving cards to ppl from all the campus'. there also were a few people in there that were just getting their id cards done coz the thing (arghh ive lost all sense of what i had as a vocab) had broke...
