    MP3 Players

yeh, $300 is for the 2GB and $360 for the 4GB. Really...I am hoping to get the MP3 player I've mentioned above for lower than $300...I don't want to pay $300, but that is my limit. I'm looking for along the lines of $200-$250.

    MP3 Players

Im looking for a MP3 player, but I don't want a small one with small buttons and it does not have to be portable. I just want to leave it beside my desk so I can just lay down and listen to the music i've uploaded onto it. I'm looking for one that's about 4GB-10GB, but looking for a price-tag...

    HSC or VCE?

too true. There are so many people who can ace an exam in the VCE but when askd to think logically they can't do that...the VCE prepares you for an exam, not for a general understanding and application of the topic.

My Favourite Film On The Abc

Shawshank Redemption was a great movie, but I was surprised that a lot of people liked it. I'm surprised Roger Rabbit didnt get in, lol. Lord of the Rings is a great movie (love it), but i reckon its only number one due to how recent it has been since the release of the movie.

    Civilization IV

Woah! one hour! It usually takes me around 3 to 5 hours to finish a game...but i always like to play epic. The annoying thing though is that as the game moves into the 1900s, it begins to crash...need a better computer (sigh).

    empire earth II

To pay for it brand new, i've seen it @ shops for around $80...you might be able to get it at $75 (ive seen at a few places), but not much lower than that. Unless you download it from the internet. If you're going to do that it would probably cost you around $65-$60. I always prefer a hard copy...

    Just Read It.

I know that...hence why I said it was... When I said that he relates his story to the real world, i meant that he throws in real places, buildings and situations like in 7AW: the pyramid on the American dollar and the statue of Lincoln. Whilst it's obvious that the link is fake, i believe is...

    Just Read It.

I've just read Seven Ancient Wonders by Matthew Reilly. Huge fan of his stuff and this book did not disappoint me. i've seen other posts by BOSers and it looks like they enjoyed it too. While it is fictitious, he does make strong links with the story and the real world. Great book, 4/5.

    Civilization IV

anyone been able to play civ4? I bought it a week ago and have been playing it since. Eventhough it has a few bugs here and there, it is a bloody good game...lol, im addicted to it (again) - lucky I bought it after exams! The only bad thing is that it tends to lag sometimes on larger maps...

Anyone know any good music downloading programs?

...unless you download songs that have had their copyright expired or are just free to the public... ...but I doubt people would use Soulseek for this reason. lol

    HSC or VCE?

In response to the cheat sheets... Not all subjects allow cheat sheets. The only subjects that allow a cheat sheet are: all the mathematical subjects and physics. Also, currently in methods your allowed to have a calculator and a two-sided cheat sheet, but that's changing for 2006. For...

    HSC or VCE?

Thanks Kami. After reading that, it seems that VCE and HSC are basically identical...just a bit of name changing and all that. But while the structure is the same, I reckon the subjects would differ quite a bit. So, I don't think there is a clear winner outta VCE or HSC.

    HSC or VCE?

gday, I'm a Victorian and hence doing the VCE. I don't there is any huge difference between the HSC and VCE. They roughly have the same sorta things. The two systems which (I reckon) are different in respect to the HSC and VCE are the systems up in Queensland and Tasmania. I don't know...

What would you like to see on BOS 2006?

I know that this site is mainly aimed towards the HSC students, but I would like to see the VCE sub-site developed a bit more.
