You could consider using loose leaflets for Mathematics when doing questions and a workbook for notes.
I made sure I just titled everything and stapled off sections to organise my math work in terms of doing questions. When I had to write 'notes' I kept a a4 workbook that was purely reserved...
If you're doing the HSC course this year for 3U and 4U my only word of advice is to make the most of this upcoming holiday. Get a group of friends or as the above post said maybe even a tutor and keep going through content. That way you have your own safety net in terms of risk when it comes to...
late reply but if I remember correctly papers get scanned and marked on the computer, I'd assume there would be a system to check if you're blatantly copying things.
Same advise as everyone, best avoid doing it :read:
You could technically create a safety net for yourself by doing 4U, that means if one your subjects ends up not performing well for your HSC your almost guaranteed a solid mark for 4U if your passionate about it.
Personally if you've already completed the 2U/3U course I would take up the...
I'd pay close attention to the clock, i.e. at 10 minutes you should have written your intro + first two sentences of body 1 etc.
If you're able to give yourself deadlines you can actually start thinking on your feet a little more and adjust so you don't end up 'not finishing'. There's nothing...
I got in the habit of actually writing it at the front of my booklet, I was told that for my trials so I just repeated it. I don't think I got penalised but I'd probably check with the examiner if they were given any special instructions for that kind of stuff.
shouldn't you be studying :haha:
But in all seriousness the day before my Paper 1 I was so confused as to what I had to be doing, I had my essays memorised and I even did a couple practice runs. The anticipation is the worst. In all if you've got things in your brain all you gotta make sure...
I did similar subjects and I ended up dropping business studies (I ended up doing Legal, Eco, 4U maths, 3U english) only because it was dry. I felt that the course was based off common sense and it wasn't as engaging as the other courses I had.
If you're taking my opinion, I would drop business...
Pretty much this,
I was just told it as an analogy from my 4U tutor haha, gave me inspiration to ace it. I think his message was all about 4U having such a great scaling on your ATAR.
You can think of it like 1 mark = 1 quote + technique + explanation.
So if you have a 3 marker expect to have a solid first line that answers the question and then 2-3 sentences each having their own quote + technique + explanation.
for Module B you have the opportunity to provide critical material which could come in the form of a quote from a philosopher or literary academic in the conclusion, other than that I wouldn't quote from the text.
well seeing as you're doing your HSC in 3 days and you are asking for an essay very specifically I'll be straight forward and just say you'll be much better off memorising quotes and arguments. There are a lot of public resources out there, you can have a look at this...
