You take them on the same day (usually an hour after the first exam). You don't get the luxury of doing one exam one day or the other another day unless you have special permission or you're doing a substitute exam.
Exam Clashes can be fun. You get put in a room with a table filled with biscuits, tea and coffee (and you can eat/drink them all!) I've only had a clash once for a practical exam and a final exam filled with essays. It was aiite. [emoji14]

A friend and I actually walked in between a couple (they were walking quite slowly and it was in a hallway plus we were late to class) once. They scoffed at us but we turned around and gave them a dirty.

Try the upper levels of Fisher. Or the tunnel in between the Law library and Fisher. Not really secret but you can try the small lawn area beside The Quadrangle on Science Rd for a 'retreat' and also the grass area on the Engineering/Darlington campus.
