Honestly you have an amazing chance to get into even Baulko with just those extra-curriculars alone. They'll really boost the look of your application. Don't stress, you have a solid chance :)
you're right for the other exams though, the abstract reasoning section was just like an IQ test that you can find online and the English is comprehension. I remember for writing you could pick whatever you want to write as long as you addressed the question
Hmmm I did the HAST last year but I don't really remember much 5.3 maths being in the paper. The questions were more like AMC questions based on logic and stuff. Also the paper was actually called Maths and Science so it also had a bunch of science-related questions in it. Maybe its different...
Just hopped on to the website, It seems that the website is for looking for tutors with scheduled lessons and payments. I'm just looking for advice for now
Hello, I have an assignment coming up and I am to create a 1000-1200 word creative story that explores the theme of "encountering otherness". My class has also been studying the novel 'Anil's ghost', and I have to take inspiration from the language choices and conventions used in the novel. I am...
You should definitely bring it up with your teacher! Being challenged in a subject, especially maths really gives you a lot of motivation and helps you learn. By the way what do you mean by stage 3 maths?
My mod history class was full and I gotta do pdh now, probably gonna bludge it but I love anatomy so I guess it might turn out alright. Defo dropping it in yr 12 tho
Penrith is relatively lenient on selecting their students compared with baulko. I know that they do value sports a lot and extra curriculars definitely help. Im sure that if you have a few A's on your reports you will be fine
If you do well in the HAST exam it is almost guaranteed you're in, even with lacking reports. I remember a person got into yr 11 entry for girra with all c's on his reports, but he did really well on the test. Extra curricular activities would also make a good impression :))
One of my friends got into Penrith for having about 3 A's and 5B's, and then was for yr 10 entry. I'm sure you still have a good chance. If you can keep your reports up a lot, you could always try for baulko. My friend had about 6A's 1B and 1 C and he got 1-8th reserve for that schol. Otherwise...
Those questions were not in the test. They were usually a series of images or shapes, and you would either have to choose the next in the sequence or one within the sequence.
