Uh I don't really know what the state rank is but my school is Fairvale High school... We've got a terrible cohort.
@such_such: Pretty much
@SpiralFlex: Thanks I'll keep that in mind...
@jason2kool: LOL
Yep I am literally failing my HSC... I wish I could say "Asian-failed" but this is legit fail.
I'm not sure what to do, I feel so demotivated already. :-(
Here are my ranks
Standard English - 80/135
Gen. Maths - 5/75
Biology - 18/40
Chemistry - 25/37
Visual Arts - 9/22
Ancient History - 24/52...
tl;dr: (Lol it's not really long at all :|) Random bullcrap about how I suck at school and a question on how you motivate yourself and how you stop procrastinating!
I have no motivation.
I am WAY behind on my studies (I'm around 1 module behind for Bio and Chem notes, I haven't even started...
So recently in my half yearlies, I received a 10/25 for my interview on Belonging. It's 33% for the assessment mark or whatever.
I don't know why I'm doing so bad in english... I know it's standard and you're probably going to laugh at my marks but I really need help. I'm seriously HORRIBLE at...
I don't have an exam for english but instead we have an interview with 2 teachers, I guess it isn't so bad because I'm pretty good at verbal assessments.
My exams start on monday whoopee!
Issues meaning emotional/verbal/physical abuse and all that jazz. It's kinda making me even more stressed about education and whatnot.
I heard it's possible you can get extra points for your ATAR if you have problems or something... Anyone to enlighten me if this is true or not?
To put it in simplest terms: I suck at maths (last year I was ranked like.. 100/120 or some where around there). I don't want to drop to general maths because I hate that more than maths.
Also I'm REALLY behind on maths... Actually no, I'm behind on all my subjects because my dad forced me to...
Ok I'll consider buying Excel books unless there are any reasons why I shouldn't buy them :S
Ah yes we have Conquering Chemistry at our school but it's a little outdated.
I'll see when more people post on here. :p
I'm considering buying a study guide textbooks for Chem and Bio but I'm unsure which one is the best for studying.
A lot of my friends say Excel is the best but is that even true? I've only tried studying with Excel and Dot Point. I'm not sure what is best so I would like your opinions...
Oh ok thanks for all your advice! :) I'll make sure to check on my assignment scheduling with my teachers just to get an idea of what I'll be missing out of.
@LoveHateSchool: Really? How long were you staying there for?
Vietnam was actually a really fun experience for me so I would LOVE to come...
