    hey, sorry.. sorry... i didn’t know who posted them (The name next to it said BOS), certainly didn’t know it was you and didn’t know about you being on the committee. Also, it was just photocopied so i just thought some hsc student got the book and photocopied it and put it on BOS...

    couldn't you do the last binomial 3 mark Q or the SHM (when is the latest time he can get out to the sea)? ..in the exam that is.

    they will prob give u the mark, in the standards package, the exempler on question 7 one of them isnt simplified (and they got 15/15 for that section) so i guess so.

    nope, i think that was the old hsc.. not with the new hsc. many people get 99 All of the top 10 would have got 99.. i think :s I think all 10 of them have been on BOS before

    yes thats the correct answer... thnx KFunk with your reasoning.... why was i doing R^2 - r^2 instead of (R-r)^2 :s btw its the knox trial (in the 8 trials thread) should do it... some of the questions are pretty good. Friend that goes to knox said 3 people got over 100.

    slicing is a method of finding a volume... a volume is achieved by the shaded area being rotated? stop confusing me... stressful times

    my answer is (around) ... half of yours the answer they gave... much smaller. i dont think they're right This is what they do: (R - r)^2 and it really bothers me, it should be R^2 - r^2

    just clear this up for me...

    i heard it helps align your 4unit... but i think that might only be for the state toppers list. even at my school i came first in 4unit (not by much with another guy... but cleared the rest well - i got 88.25 and he got 86.75 as assessment marks) and the teacher gave him the academic award...

    there hasnt been any since 93 dude.. 2002 is on the standards package, and if you go to question 8 ... what do you see.. NOTHING because no one got full marks. (the exemplers) Turtle thinks he got 119.. probably right too.
