Can anyone give the pros and cons list for UNSW vs USYD in terms of the juris doctor. Having achieved an ATAR of 98.75, what kind of GPA would I be looking to need in order to attain a position in the JD. I know UNSW is purely GPA and usyd is 25% ATAR : 75% GPA. Any guesses/ideas? TY =)

practice, practice, practice. The key to maths is to practice.. it is a subject which is difficult to "cram" for and thus sufficient effort must be put in to yield positive results. I recommend, learning concepts via textbooks but THEN immediately practicing using past papers NOT with textbook...

do you mean, if one of your subs is 90 flat you won't get 99+? or if they all are? coz i was definitely close to getting 99+, if my 4u was probs like an 85.

yeah 90 flat in each subject isn't enough.. but generally 80% of all rounders get 99+, because they do considerably well across all of their subjects 92/93+ in all

yeah that's fine by me. I tutor chemistry at Blacktown library from 1pm-3:30pm on a weekly basis on Saturdays.. so I can do before that, ie in the morning. Doing it after might be a little difficult because, libraries close early on saturdays. But whatever is suitable to you just let me know.

First in mx1 and mx2 at a top 10 school.. defs = heading towards 95+ hsc marks for both, and a state rank in IPT, above avg in phys - probs equals low band 6. From those your defs heading towards 99+

my thoughts: In the end, in my experience.. 4unit was the subject that prevented me from attaining a 99+ atar. But in saying that, I was probably the most lazy 4u student.. and in the end only attained about 50-55/120 in the actual HSC exam - A FAIL.. yet that still equated to a HSC mark of 80...
