    Physiotherapy: USYD vs UWS

hmm yeah, I'd agree on that.. but they'd definitely be few and far between. I mean - I achieved 98.75 and am at UWS, so don't think I'm hating on UWS or anything. But yeah, from everyone I've come across so far, there's only been one other person who achieved 98+ (not including med students).

    the best non-private tutor

i wouldn't recommend pre-uni or james an.. the trend seems to be towards tuition companies that utilise recent ex-students with high marks/state ranks.. this means they are very well-versed and up-to-date with the syllabus and thus understand what is relevant and how to achieve high marks. Such...

    Physiotherapy: USYD vs UWS

yeah, okay, but still a 93 is SO much easier than a mid 98.

    Physiotherapy: USYD vs UWS

Just because something isn't "established" doesn't mean that I disregard it. I simply stated that UWS Physio is only a new course, thus it is currently hard to judge how good the course is. With medicine, it's obviously a different story.. medicine anywhere is great.. and a doctor is a doctor...

    Physiotherapy: USYD vs UWS

bonus points.. people get into physiotherapy at uws with very low 90's.. e.g. 91/92 I agree that better rep doesn't equal better job prospects. But the training and clinical placements provided by the university will definitely affect your chances of getting a job. Physio at UWS isn't well...

    PRELIM CHEMISTRY

prelim chem is not that important for hsc chem.. but it is very important for uni chem. So if your looking do a B Sc or something along those lines pay attention now and I'll help you out in the future. In terms of prelim chem requirements for hsc chem, I'd say make sure you really understand...

    Physiotherapy: USYD vs UWS

physio at uws is relatively new.. i think maybe only 1 or 2 years have actually graduated from the course, whereas usyd is very set up and has developed an established reputation. In the end $20k isn't that much, but it's definitely something not to take lightly.. I'd say that if you were to...

    GPA AS A BELL CURVE?

How do GPA's at UNSW and USYD work? I know that at UWS they do not work on the "bell curve" system - e.g. there is a fixed no. of people who can receive HD's, D's etc. Does UNSW and USYD utilise that kind of bell curve system or is it just, if a student meets the requirements for a HD, then...

    LOOKING FOR TUTOR URGENTLY!

I would offer my assistance - however I'm mainly situated in Parramatta/Blacktown. I do tutor at Liverpool on Sundays from 12:30pm-3:30pm. And I can probably do Sunday's after 3:30pm - but Library's are closed at 4pm. If you have a suitable location I could tutor you afterwards on Sunday...

    atar or wam/gpa?

because you haven't completed a full year of tertiary studies I'd assume that it would be only your ATAR and not your GPA.

    $15 LESSON! Biology (96) + Chemistry (93) HSC Tuition // BLACKTOWN-PARRA

The raw marks you actually get in your school assessments don't really count to anything. The only thing that matters is your ranking. I ranked 1st internally (at school) and then ended up receiving 96 in the HSC exam - because of that my assessment mark was 96 and my exam mark was 96. But, in...

    is chemistry really necessary?

Yeah you will be at a disadvantage. Although it's not a prerequisite the knowledge obtained from Prelim and HSC Chemistry is definitely needed to effective understand and study the units that are present in Medicine. If you don't do it now, I'm quite sure that you will either have to do a...
