I want to do languages too but because I know that i might get bored or sick of just doing a straight language degree i'm doing Arts so that I have the flexibility to do some languages but also some history or philosophy or whatever as well to keep it interesting for me.

I did accelerated SoRII in year 10/11 and our school now offers that and 3u maths accelerated (but not this year, year 10 are too dumb). They do year 11 in year 10, year 12 in year 11 to meet the hour requirements. I think that would be a pretty big issue if youre trying to do both years in one...

I didn't do any actual study for the first 3 terms of my HSC. Do your homework each night. Occasionally read over your notes. Then, in the holidays and weeks before your exams start, study your butt off. Worked for me.
