Do you see yourself marrying outside your race?

Arranged..? I'm guessing it's because of religion?

Star Wars KOTOR I & II

I love the big "twist" in the storyline in KOTOR, in fact the whole storyline was awesome. KOTOR II was less satisfying somewhat, but the story was still pretty good. Yeah I played both and was hooked till the end simply because I wanted to find out what happened next

    Uni help

Um..you can find out if you made it in or not by buying the newspaper on the 18th (and usually at night on the 17th from some service stations), or on the net on the 18th on the UAC site.

So, i got 98.. what course?

My suggestion is BCom/BEc (double degree) at UNSW, or BCom/BA at USyd
  5. Minai

    Transfer Q's

Yes its the same UAC application
  6. Minai

    Procedure if transfer is accepted

Usually, the new uni recieves the transcrpt etc from the old uni via UAC, so you don't really need to worry about that. The new uni will credit subjects already done appropriately (which you can appeal/debate). And yes, MAKE SURE you disenrol from your old degree because you WILL be charged HECS...

    6 unit gen eds..

Hmm yeah whats the difference between doing 1 6UOC course and 2 3UOC courses...I think its a mistake

    Commerce part time

Congrats! (see you at the ecocomp dinner?) Anyway, just enrol in 12CP (or 6?) and choose the night stream. However, you wont have access to the cityrail Concession logo on your student card. So, I think a way around that is to enrol in 18+CP, get your student card, and then disenrol from the...

    why unsw commerce?

Com/Lib is more of a "I don't know what I wanna do in future, so I'll do Com/Lib" type degree. It's a bit of everything so it aims to give you some direction. I chose UNSW because I knew what I wanted to do, and UNSW was the best place to do it at.

    condoms or bareback???

You should be afraid of the $$$, if she had your child!

    BCom/BEc and actuarial studies

...which means any current Commerce student can change to a BCom/BEc program, just visit the student centre
  12. Minai

All right, who'll be joining the ranks next year?

Don't think like that UAI cutoffs vary dramatically...ie that Soft Eng cutoff at UNSW might be 87.5 this year, meaning you'd get in. ALWAYS put your preferences in order of what you'd MOST like to do, not UAI cutoff order

DAILY TELEGRAPH - Top 200 schools

Ouch, Manly got beaten by Penrith and Merewether...that hurts On another note, god North Sydney Girls did bad this year..they are usually always runner up to Ruse

Distinguished Achievers List (as a searchable Excel file)

They were probably a class of year 10 or 11 accelerants in IPT
  15. Minai

    External transfer with credit average

It's possible yes, but its all based on supply and demand, and also her UAI and the USYD UAI cutoff
  16. Minai

    B Com - I'm confused

The thing is their Commerce courses have different UAI cutoffs, whereas BCom at UNSW is all the same
  17. Minai

    BCom/BEc and actuarial studies

I'm sure you can go to the FCE student centre and apply to transfer internally I haven't read the new handbook to see whether this is possible though
  18. Minai

    B Com - I'm confused

If you don't make Macquarie actuarial, then at UNSW, yes you would pick BCom (there's no seperate Actuarial degree like at Macq). When you enrol (online), you'll be presented with a degree planner based on the major you wish to complete. The subjects you'll need to do are slightly off the normal...
