Don't use toothpaste. Some are abrasives and really screw up your retainers. I'm looking to invest in one of those machines.. lol

Marks required for a 99.95 atar

Depends where your strengths & weaknesses lie. Play with ATAR calculators to get a rough idea.

Who are the best teachers in Matrix Education?

^ agreed. Louise is the best. I've also heard that Dr. Alexandra Yeung (i think that's her name) is also a very good chemistry teacher. For physics, Derek, Murad & DJ are the best. Don't go for English.

    Tutoring, and expectations.

I feel as if my parents also fit in to this. I recall hearing one of my parents say a few weeks ago that they expect great marks, "99+", from the amount of money they've invested in my education (I've been forced to go tuition since a young age). I wouldn't say tuition didn't help at all, but it...

    Hsc textbooks

I haven't done economics so i can't comment on that. Even if you do remember everything, you have to be able to select specific bits of information required to answer questions, and do so in a specific way, otherwise you won't get the marks. Although you may know everything, if you don't...

    Special angle question!!!

    sin2\theta = \frac{1}{4} We want solutions 0 < \theta < 360. This is the same as 0 < 2\theta < 720 (everything multiplied by 2) So then we need to consider the solutions for 2 revolutions for 2\theta 2\theta = sin^{-1}(\frac{1}{4}), 180 - sin^{-1}(\frac{1}{4}), 360 + sin^{-1}(\frac{1}{4})...

    Special angle question!!!

    Since sin(180 -\theta) = sin\theta, we can construct this. Now find the unknown side using pythagoras, and now you can do i) and ii) (using cos(180 - \theta) = -cos\theta & tan(180 - \theta) = -tan\theta) For b), do you mean sin^2 \theta or sin2\theta? It'd be a bit messy with sin2\theta

    BOS ATAR Estimations

Relatively. I was capped at 99.20 as the upper boundary by one and at 99 by another lol Errmm i don't think so

    BOS ATAR Estimations

In the end, 99.70 :) So it wasn't very accurate, but i think its because the people at the top of my grade were beast lol.

I think just a bit higher, like 97.

What HSC marks are you aiming for?

Only didn't hit one of my goals... But overall quite happy!

    Circle Geo D:

    Is AT a tangent? If so.. AT^2 = OA \times AM $ (Tangent-secant theorem) $ Noticing that OTA is rt. angled triangle, apply pythagoras theorem so AT^2 = OA^2 - OT^2 \therefore OA^2 - OT^2 = OA \times AM Go from there

    Chemistry Questions

Re: ethanol as a reneweable resource? Yep. I usually say "carbon neutral" in inverted commas because, as you mentioned, it isn't entirely carbon neutral

    Chemistry Questions

Re: ethanol as a reneweable resource? HAI SIDDY girlworld_club said what you said was to do with how bioethanol is greenhouse neutral. First of all, for a resource to be renewable, it must be sustainable, i.e., rate of production must be greater than or equal to the rate of use. Currently...
