    find values? :)

    Yeah it is, will edit so that further confusion doesn't ensue lol

    find values? :)

    A = \pm 2 Remember that (Ax + 4)^2 = \mathbf{A^2x^2} + 8Ax + 16

    find values? :)

    Expand RHS, group terms by degree of x, equate coefficients and solve equations obtained simultaneously. I'll do the first 2 parts for you. (Ax + 4)^2 + B(x + 4) + C =A^2x^2 + 8Ax + 16 + Bx + 4B + C = A^2x^2 + (8A + B)x + 16 + 4B + C

    Quadratic polynomial help!

    Let the roots be a and 2a. Sum of roots = 3a = r + 3 Product of roots = 2a^2 = 2(r + 1) a^2 = r + 1 Simultaneous equations to get possible values of r.

    Limiting Sum of a G.S Help please (recurring decimals)

    No. 4.3333 - 0.4333 = 3.9 9n = 3.9 n = \frac{3.9}{9} = \frac{13}{30}

    Logarithms

    It doesn't say you can't use logarithms. It just wants the expression rewritten in index form (i.e. no logarithms in it).
  8. nightweaver066

    Logarithms

    log_ax - log_ay = nlog_az log_a(\frac{x}{y}) = log_az^n $Raising both sides to the power of a$ \frac{x}{y} = z^n x = yz^n

    Nuclear Chemistry help:)

    Cobalt-60 is also used in industry (automated thickness gauges, irradiation of food, sterilisation of medical equipment) I focused on automated thickness gauges. Benefits associated with its use: - Promotes hygiene, minimizes contact with material - Prevents the need for continuous...

    What qualities do you seek in a tutor/teacher?

    Not all students like that but i'm sure most parents would. Probably best not to enforce it, but have them know it's something you can do.

    What qualities do you seek in a tutor/teacher?

    Patient, motivating, positive, dedicative, organised and engaging. Also someone who knows the material back to front and will be able to answer your questions and addresses the students' needs (including school work & even possibly student interests).

    Ways which you make study notes are made

    Type up detailed notes and get them just the way you like. Then write out concise notes, trying to condense them as much as you can (try not to copy things word for word). There's more freedom in writing as you can draw pictures or diagrams freely wherever you want.

    Wearing contacts

    Yes. It's better to have contacts that suit your eyes otherwise it may cause stress.

    Wearing contacts

    It's better to get them changed. I think if you have unopened boxes, you can get them exchanged. (not sure about this, ask your optometrist)
