Twitter and the changing face of the news

This is an intriguing and plausible idea. I am sure there will be some who will consider the immediacy of "twitter news" reckless, as there will no doubt be incorrect or downright dishonest items reported via Twitter. However this may be all but nullified by, as you say, aggregation and further...

    Organ Trading?

    I feel much the same.

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education....

I think most schools are crappy - and at the end of the day, it isn't neccessarily the fault of the school's administration, it's more the result of lumping impressionable, competitive and insecure young people together in a group for most of the day, five days a week.

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education....

Which is why Homeschooling ought to be regulated. Registered homeschoolers are regularly inspected for progess, etc.. I don't mean to be rude, but imo the 'weirdness' is much more likely to be attributed to the cult than the homeschooling. I know some homeschoolers, they're awesome, very high...

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education....

Or turn 18, go to uni, come out of it and realise you've spent most of your life trying to confirm to the 'norm' in order to be accepted by a bunch of sheep -and have absolutely no idea who you are or what you think. Diverse viewpoints at school my foot. In a school environment a child is...

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education....

In reply to your second point : How is it that a homeschooled child is not able to be exposed to diverse viewpoints or be socialised? Socialisation at school is not all that broad in actual fact. Nor is it likely that a diligent and responsible homeschooled parent would not consider the need...

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education....

Yes, but teachers in a school system do not teach only their own children. A parent has a close relationship with a child that enables him/her to construct an approach to teaching that is especially effective and efficient with relation to his/her child.

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education....

It ought to be pointed out that homeschooled children are not always taught exclusively by parents. There are those who complete distance education /have tutors for some or all subjects - even some who alternate between school and homeschool. My father and mother were the ones that rescued my...

    What're your standards/criteria?

My 'standards': * He has to be a man * He has to love me, in an exclusive, friendly, and romantic way. * I have to love him, in an exclusive, friendly, and romantic way. * There must be chemistry between us. * Both of us must have a fairly defined set of moral values. Something we both believe...

Shave, wax, laser, epilate, pluck LOL

I've used and epilator, the first time was very painful but the pain was less intense the next time I used it. One gets used to it. That said, I'm not a patriot of any one method of hair removal.

Don't Ask, Don't Tell: Is Obama a pussy?

Agree with the above. EDIT: IF by sexuality being irrelevant during work hours you mean no special treatment allotted to gays or straights as a result of their sexuality. I see nothing wrong with a person talking about their private lives at times.

so how many of you girls fit my criteria

I fit much, if not all of this "criteria". I find it odd that you've written nothing about character. It seems rather less than gracious to expect a woman to appreciate the same music and share the same apathy for 'designer labels' as yourself. Also in my view it is less than wise to have not...

    neeeeeeeeeeeeed friendship help please

This friend sounds like she's got some pretty sad things to deal with, it's good of you to care so much. However, her behaviour towards you is ( in my view) unacceptable. Not speaking to you ,because you've refused to do something ( you refusal being in accordance with your personal standards)...

    Are you waiting until marriage?

If the question was " Are you waiting until you are married to have sex?" My answer is yes.

    Are you waiting until marriage?

    Waiting for what, pray tell?

    Being a step-parent

Not thankless, but certainly awkward at times.

    Being a step-parent

If I loved the person , yes of course, their children are a part of them. I don't think I'd agree not to have biological children myself, though.
