Woops sorry for late reply, been busy. Yeah, it's incredibly hard to stay motivated, it's quite problematic. Been trying to nag myself with tons of to-do lists and whiteboards. Life in general's fairly average at the moment, thanks to study and whatnot.

Oh also good news, the cyst seems to have disappeared from my hand so it's only mildly weak now. I got a sore hand from a 50min English assessment but I'm assuming that's pretty normal unless I train it. I guess the stuff written in my first post became helpful eventually. Those giant squishy...

The helpline sounds useful but I don't think I would have used it at this point in time if I was aware of it. I've never heard any of my friends talk about it, so I'm honestly indifferent so far.

/spemspemspamspemspamspam 76% isn't a bad mark. Of course, you'd want to focus on maintaining or improving that mark. All I really did for software was rewrite most of the textbook in my own words, and past papers. And have people in the class I really want to beat but was unable to.

I'm a selective school ranked ~30, they don't offer Standard English, no point arguing if Standard or Advanced is better. Well, I've got several months to work on English so I'd better start so it's less likely to jeopardize my chances of 94+. Gotta bust out some past papers.

Title. I'm having massive difficulties with English, and as hard as I try, my rank/marks are in the bottom 25% of the grade. I'm confident in all my other subjects, though, and am aiming for a 94+ ATAR. Will my English bring my overall ATAR down by a large amount?

I tend to make to-do lists with timeframes in which I can complete each set of tasks. I found that not putting a timeframe (e.g. 3 days) led me to procrastinating anyway.

I'm pumped at the same time, but kinda panicking too, there's so much to be done. I've never really managed various tasks individually before, better learn now than later.
