    Hard maths question

naa, I haven't tried that yet. I look at it later. By then, someone else would have done it though.

    complex number

Just a little question. By the fundamental theorem of algebra, there are only meant to be 5 solutions. How is it there are 6? Is it because the polynomial isn't purely in z but in conjugate of z?

    Hard maths question

When the truck reverses direction does it continue to travel at the same constant speed?

    Hard maths question

    Is the first one 12pm?

    complex numbers

You mean why it is also considered a solution? Because on the complex plane the point (2,3) represents the complex number 2+3i. Sub that into the equation and you have a valid statement meaning it is a solution.

PHYSICS HELP NEEDED - MOVING ABOUT !!!!!

This is assuming a closed system in the collision between the two cars btw.

PHYSICS HELP NEEDED - MOVING ABOUT !!!!!

For the first question my answer would probably be something like this. By Newton' third law of motion, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction i.e. for every force exerted upon a body the body exerts the same force but in opposite direction. In the case of two colliding cars...

^ so whats the equation for length contraction, I thought it was exactly the same?

    Physics Marathon 2012

I'm not 100% sure with this answer as I've done close to nothing in this part of the year 12 space topic. But as v->infinity not only does m->infinity but from the length contraction equation l->infinity also. The key to creating a black hole is to trap an infinitely large mass within an...

    mechanics

You don't really have to have much of an understanding in physics at all. Know Newton's laws of motion, what things like net force and tension are and that is about all you need. Some relate it to uni physics. However, from what I have learnt, it doesn't go to the extent of understanding the...

What do you think is the 'BEST' job/carerr to do when you finish Uni or High School?

Re: What do you think is the 'BEST' job/carerr to do when you finish Uni or High Scho I'm leaning probably towards engineering. But what I'd love so much more would be medicine. I want to go into med to help people like my brother who is blind. Engineering seems very dull. I love maths and...
