Is this a legit study technique?

This study technique that you have been using is fine. Just so you know, UWS and Newcastle University/UNE offer five year medicine degree programs. UNSW's MBBS takes SIX years to complete and the end result is the same - an internship, residency and specialisation.

    Medical science vs neuroscience

I'd choose Neuroscience. The human brain is fascinating.

MBBS at UNSW Vs. MBBS at USYD

UNSW because it offers an undergraduate degree in medicine. USyd offers combined medicine, which is a B Med Sci OR B Sci (Adv) and a postgraduate 4-year MB BS. However, I would prefer to go to UWS or Newcastle University/UNE because they offer 5-year MB BS and B Med degrees respecitively...

Who thinks the HSC is unfair?

Agreed, the statement is void. The average of all your aligned marks would make ATARs very high. Perhaps we could take the average of raw marks and then adjust the result based on the average results for each of the candidate's subjects, e.g. if 60% of people scored above 75% in General...

Do people exaggerate the difficulty of the HSC?

I've changed my mind. I would like to be a paediatrician, helping children every day and donating my cash to children's charities. :) I think being a GP would be an interesting job, but I'd prefer paediatrics and child health as it offers similar variety but you are dealing with just children...

Do people exaggerate the difficulty of the HSC?

I think my preferences are better now. 1. MB BS (UWS) 2. MB BS (UNSW) 3. B Med (Newcastle University & UNE) 4. MB BS (JCU) 5. MB BS (Monash University) 6. B App Sci (Phty) (USyd) 7. B App Sci (OT) (USyd) 8. B.N. (UTS-Kuringai) 9. B Sci (UWS).

    I help you thread.

You need maths for genetics. Elementary mathematics is required for Blueprint of Life and the option Genetics: the Code Broken? Students are asked to construct pedigrees and punnet squares, and to do so they must utilise mathematical reasoning and have a basic grasp of percentages and ratios...

Do you think it's better to write the risk assessment before or after the method?

Are you sure? That's strange. Biology is the most popular HSC science course in the state- it's the fourth most popular NSW HSC course.

How much of the syllabus should be covered these holidays?

Using big words doesn't make you smart babe. And at least you found it funny, albeit self-deprecating humour or "jokes about jokes".

Good luck for Year 11. :) I hope you have fun. Don't take life so seriously dude, chillax

Is it possible for me to get...

Not to mention a school's ranking has no bearing on what rank an individual can achieve who is attending that school. You hear about kids who went to TAFE for their HSC achieving ranks of >99.00. A poor ranking of a school simply means that perhaps the assessments the school administered to...

    Best HSC Biology option topic?

ROFL Not all my posts are repetitive, just 90% of them are. :D And I didn't do this on purpose, I haven't actually read my first post apart from the first time I wrote it, about 3 whole months ago.

Legal Studies - New Syllabus - Roll Call Prelim 2010

There's also the GAMSAT entry option (postgraduate medicine - MB BS takes 4 years FT to complete and requires a 3-year undergraduate Bachelor degree or higher). I've consider ANU Bachelor of Laws undergraduate (4 years) then ANU postgrduate MB BS, but like you said Jess, the workload is huge...

Legal Studies - New Syllabus - Roll Call Prelim 2010

Yeah, sure do. I'm only going to do Medicine. MB BS at UWS is the goal. I need an ATAR of >93.00. I'm aiming for 95.00. I've done the ACER UMAT practice questions and I got them all right. That said, ACER says that preparation for UMAT is ineffective as it's an IQ and EQ (Emotional Intelligence...

Why did u choose standard english?

If you're a genius at English you'd obviously be in love with the subject and therefore do Advanced English the course "for the English lover" as Standard is sadly lacking study of the greatest English literature/plays ever written, Shakespeare's Hamlet or Julius Caesar etc. I love Shakespeare...

Do you think it's better to write the risk assessment before or after the method?

I don't know why this comes under Chemistry. It's a generic senior sciences question. Risk assessments are done in all HSC science courses' reports. And from doing the School Certificate Science Independent Research Project, I know that the risk assessment is best written after the method...

    3 band 6's but didnt get a 90?

Why is everyone posting their successes? Is it to make the OP who got the same marks as you, but in different subjects with poor scaling, feel bad? Please refrain from listing your achievements. I'm sure it just makes the OP even more bitter and angry about UAC not awarding her an ATAR of >90.00...

    Best HSC Biology option topic?

Genetics is the best, most interesting area of Biology as a whole, not just at the HSC-level. Full stop. Agreed?
