The board treats you on how your cohort goes in the exams. A super job in the externals will really help all of you, but a few bad marks can really drag everyone down unless you're in the top ranks. The advantage of small cohorts is that you can help each other out, and improve together.

So...We should be almost halfway through the 4u course. How are you guys finding it? Personally, a couple of years back I thought I would never have been able to handle it, but now i realise it's not too bad if you spend the time.

I do think there is an advantage. There's a higher benchmark and this benchmark exponentially grows in progression leading up to the hsc. By the end of it, You guys will be way higher than the state average.

It would be a good time to stop. Just have the will power to say no, and study hard.

@op, you get two marks, your exam mark and your school mark in which you take the average. This would be the mark in which your atar will be determined from.

Economics is a subject that is very difficult to cram for unless you have amazing memory. It requires constant revision and you have to make sure you stay on top of the new material you learn every lesson. If you let it pile on top of you, there will be way too much info to cover for the exam...

I really need at least 8 hours sleep every night regardless of exams. If you are planning to all nighter, then you must have screwed up your preparation along the way. Don't do it :D
