if those are exam raw marks, then they are amazing! i mean, if you did that in the hsc i believe you'd be looking at easily over 99. youve got much better raw marks in your subjects than our top 20 at the half yearlies which get about 99.5ish. keep it up.

not particularly, but thats as a result of having it forcefed for so many years. im sure i'll actually get to like it once i stop having to learn it.

Re: Public School vs. Private it depends what sort of private school. im pretty confident ours has the best facilities and teachers in nsw. but other private schools may not be that affluent.

uh, the derivative, theres a big difference between getting 90 in senior science and 90 in 4 unit maths. but say, if i was better at english extension and got 90, and was worse at 4 maths and got 80, then it still wouldnt help the maths mark. and once you get over a certain aligned mark...

at grammar there was a guy a couple of years ago in our firsts football who got 42 for his UAI. thats my definition.

well it depends how close a friend they are, and how much they beat you by. in modern history, im fine with being beaten by 5 marks, because he obviously deserved it much more. in eco, coming second by one mark at about 95% and losing more marks than i lost in both essays in the multiple...

why does everyone always go for 4unit maths?! pick the one that your better in. scaling only ever matters if your NOT good at a subject, because then it pushes you up to a decent mark. but if your good at the subject, then you wouldnt need to be pushed up anyway.

i find it interesting that selective school kids have tutoring too. in most private schools, they dont. in grammar i think only about six or so of the top 20 kids have tutoring. BUT we still do on average as well in our top 20 students as any other top 10 school (bar james ruse). does that...
