Read the section on advanced maths http://sydney.edu.au/handbooks/science/coursework/combined/b_arts.shtml

    Changed my mind

Read your offer letter - that is likely to have the information on acceptance deadlines.

    Enrolling at multiple universities?

It depends on the rules of each Uni, but in most cases there is nothing stopping you. You are not financially liable for course fees if you pull out by 30 March, but you might not get a refund on things like SSAF fee. Many students want to do things like this to give some more time to...

Need to know now !!!! Eas at uts

Regrettably Posting the same question 3 times on BOS in an hour will not accelerate the release of offers which will be tomorrow night.
  5. E

    Uts Business possibility

You will find out at 6 pm tomorrow night when offers come out. Chill out until then.

How likely is it to get a late round offer?

You will get an offer if you change prefs and the Uni decides to make offers for that course and the cutoff is lower than your score and it is your highest allocatable preference. How "likely" - who knows? Even if you did know the "likelihood" was 1% or 99%, is that going to change your...

How difficult is it to get a distinction average in com/arts?

Difficulty, or the perception of difficulty, is all relative, based on the your level of competence in assumed knowledge, how you learn bs how they teach, etc etc How much more difficult was year 12 maths to year 11 maths? How much more difficult was year 5 maths to year 4 maths? It is all a...

    Engineering for Humanitarian Aid

You will pick your primary stream at acceptance/enrolment ( Eg civil or mechanical). Units for majors don't start usually start till year 2 (or maybe 3 in a combined degree). Note though that in a combined degree, the program has cut out the engineering electives to fit everything in, and...

UTS law vs internal transfer in UNSW/USYD?

Google something called "gradstats 2015". Employment rate of new law graduates nation wide is about 74%

Speech Pathology at USYD - Chances

Last year's ATAR was 95 - http://sydney.edu.au/courses/programs/undergrad-speech-pathology/bachelor-of-applied-science-speech-pathology But they do have flex entry. However, given pref changes for main round are now closed, you just have to wait till offers come out. FLEXIBLE ENTRY PATHWAY...

Can you pick up a double degree?

If you start in the single degree, you can apply for a degree change to double degree later. It is no different to starting a BA and then then say applying to change to BSc.

Changing offers close midnight 6th January

End of Friday. Perhaps they could have said 11.59 pm on 6 Jan.

    Engineering for Humanitarian Aid

Sydney Uni offers a major in humanitarian engineering which is a non-stream-specific set of subjects that can be taken with any of the existing streams like civil, mech, chem or electrical.

Got early UAC offer before main round.

UAC will only stop considering you for another offer in a future round if you have already received your number 1 pref in an earlier round (and you did not change prefs to reorder a different pre to number 1). (You have to meet the ATAR of course!) Hence if you got pref 2 in early round it is...

    MATH1013 vs MATH1005

Sounds like you are considering this as a burden (what is easiest) than an opportunity to improve on your (weak) maths. It would depend on what degree you are doing. IMHO, an appreciation (though not necessarily a mastery) of stats is the most critical maths skill any professional can have...
