I can't answer a lot of those questions as I'm a music 2 student, however, make sure your pieces are at a difficulty that matches your own level of performance. Playing an easy piece really well will always be better than playing a difficult piece badly. I can't remember the marking criteria...

Absolutely none, they're not scaled but "aligned" by the school. They actual marks schools submit don't matter (very much).

It's just wrong, even when speaking you're not saying "should of" but the contraction "should've" as in, "should have"

I haven't yet memorised essays, but I'm definitely going to do it for HSC. It's a really easy way to get 90+ raw - just keep editing one essay until it's worth full marks and change it a tiny bit on the spot to fit the question. :p

It's 100% allowed and in fact what a majority of schools do - if you didn't study past HSC exams before trials that's your loss :p Everyone had an equal opportunity to study them.

Drama is lots and lots of fun but the essays and log books will make you want to die There is no relevant content in SDD about industry - it's all extremely outdated at this point, but a really easy subject to get consistent full marks in I can't comment on construction since I haven't done it

85/120 in MX2 would align to around 89-90. 74-77/84 in MX1 would align to around 94-96. 63/70 for MX1 aligns to around 96. 75/100 in MX2 aligns to aronud 91. For 98 in MX1 you would need 66-67/70 raw, and for 96-98 in MX2 you'd need 88-95 ish /100. Source
