Usually for Newer papers with MC: 1-12 in an hour, 13-14 in an hour and 15-16 in an hour. Also its useful to bookmark several questions in Q16 that are simple so you can do them if you are close to running out of time. For older papers: 1-4 in an hour, 5-6 in an hour and 7-8 in an hour.

You could ask your teachers? or just been born with the ability to do it :P

+1 Do it because you want to do it don't let others' actions decide your choices :). Also if you're going to do 4U then stick to 10-12 units as 4U will take a lot of your time, and sometimes concepts are harder to grasp thus requiring more practice.

I thought they had to make their own hypothetical business. Therefore to get a full understanding on how a business operates, they would research other businesses and what they do. I could be wrong though.

I'm assuming you have to present a bibliography with your business plan. How good your bibliography is, is that outcome I think.
