well, he needs 100% in the final HSC, and then chances increase if he does 3U and gets close to 100% ie 99 or 98 i think. State rank is purely on Externals i think, and when there are equal marks, then extension subjects are used to differentiate people.

Hi there, I currently go to Matrix for English, I must say, my marks have risen exponentially. In year 10 and 11 my marks hovered around 9-12/20 and the occasionally 14. However once I started going to matrix in year 12, my marks have risen to consistent 16-17/20 across ALL assessment tasks...

You doing maths accelerated currently, means that you are doing preliminary content for 2U maths. Therefore next year, All assessment tasks you do for 2U will count to your final mark. None of your marks in year 11 except 2U in your case count to your final mark. Trials are the final exam block...

I went to business and MX1 ones in the January holidays last year, they were alright not too much marketing, however in their free essay writing course and study skills courses there was a heap of marketing hence those were fairly useless.

Yeah I don't think they send them to bos.. Also depending if non government or government, the bos may audit the school and these assessments the teacher has scanned are shown to bos, if the school needs to renew registration or something.
