Same I get paid $675 a week, but only got $541. If you dont break the threshold, you will get it back anyway.

Luna Park

Age: 18
Job: Sideshow host at Luna Park
Rate: $11.20 an hour. No penalty rates. $75 bonus on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve night shifts.
Hours: I've just started and for the first two weeks I've only got about 25 hours this fortnight + training. They still haven't paid me though (account details stuff up). Pay is fortnightly, which sucks.
Perks: Cheap food? Constant 'happiness'?

I'm obviously doing it "just for fun" because the money's shit. Still, it's not a bad way to earn a bit of cash

Job: Records Management Customer Service (I started as a data entry chick on $13.69)
Rate: $20.24 (EBA Senior Level 2, and will continue next year when I'm back at uni doing my regular 10 hours - currently doing full time 11-7pm)

Previous: Kmart (started on $8.12 and went up to $11 or something)
Applied for a job at Australian Geographic, got a Christmas casual but declined (pay rate $14.70) because that's when I was offered the $20.24 ;)

If you get a tax return, they should pay you interest on top of that. Cause they've had YOUR money.

If you had that money earlier you could of invested it and earnt more by now.

Lets pitch this idea to some politician, people will like this idea. (well maybe not the converse, paying interest on money you owe to the tax office)

So lets try and pitch this off as a one-sided deal :D. Success for all*
