And natstar, even if your parents are making a small mint, I still can't believe they are paying your HECS fees, my parents are fairly well off but they've made me earn everything I've ever bought including clothes and a car, and it'd be after hell freezes over before they start paying my HECS for me. Don't you feel even a little bit guilty about just having the costs of your education given to you on a silver platter by your parents?
My parents are also paying the bulk of my HECS for me. That being said, they both worked extremely hard (still do) and have taught me the value of money. The down side is that neither of them were really there emotionally as "parents" though. *shrug* My mum very much believes in her role as "providing for the family/it's all for the kids", so I guess some people could see that as being spoilt.

But I have to chip in to help pay my brother's HECS fees in a few years, so I guess it all works out eventually :)

Can't wait to start work in January. Before or after work, just go to the gym and pool for free, NAB owned downstairs just for the employees :D. Beauty of working in the new Head Office.
