They should have an Opoto's on campus! Cheap, tasty food at stable prices! Are uni's allowed to have such things on their campuses? (Or do none of them have any because they're expensive franchises?)

Oporto's not really cheap...but I guess it's probably cheaper than uni food downstairs.

But upstairs: plate of calamari with chips and salad OWNS.

I agree its not that cheap, but you get more for $8 than you get at uni... Sam should just hold free BBQ's daily-thats where we can nominate for our fee's to go!

I find myself living off chocolate muffins and a 'big brekki' from that boost-juice ripoff.. not really a substantial, healthy diet.

To get a good burger at Oportos, you pay like 7$ or something (i dunno, I always get the big 10$ one... yum), you pay the same (7$) for a Macquarie Burger + Chips + Drink. although that burger is 5$ on its own.

At Oporto's you get a regular meal for $6.95, and the burgers are much MUCH nicer than the ones at uni... its the chilli that makes them great! So I'd still prefer to traipse across to MQ ctr and eat Oportos

... I love my Oportos!

I forget where the stalking thing derived from. I think somebody (i think Greg) made a thread about stalking and it became a big thing.

I frequently follow hotties through shopping centres, but that's not the point.

believe it or not..uni food is kinda cheap...

$6.50 for a box of pasta or thai. no drinks. That is not cheap especially compared to other unis.

The only cheap thing at Macquarie is the new breakfast menu.

this is another personal opinion too, but i don't mind that i am not represented as long as they remain corrupt-free and don't show bias towards anyone, although my views are most likely in the minority. Maybe i don't show enough interest in it for it to bother me :/
