I haven't gotten an email yet and seriously, my UMAT was:

S1: 54
S2: 55
S3: 69 (34.5)

If I am correct, I got 143.5.

Which is off 144 by 0.5.

UAI estimate was 99.85. I don't think I got an interview. : pouts:

Don't be a pretentious prat; written English isn't spoken English, and there isn't a noticeable, if any, linguistic difference between "ýour" and "ýou're".

You're right, written English is NOT the same as spoken English, so although "your" and "you're" may sound the same, they are not, in fact, the same.

Oh well... it may take a while, but i'm sure i will eventually come to terms with the fact that not everyone shares my pedantic propensities

na im not from GWS. but still i was 91st percentile i and think its absurd that a score like that cant get one....

anywho, just got a letter from University of Newcastle for an interview!!!
id rather go there in any case

predicted uai was given as 100 rofl.

They said offers have officially closed, and if anyone didnt get one, then they stuffed their application and will have to apply next year. At least you tried.

=\ That would be so depressing. I haven't received notification yet, but I called and they said that all emails would be sent by the end of the week i.e. at the time my friends got interviews, not all offers had been sent out.

applied online, got a confirmation email. uai pred was sent in by careers advisor

Looking at white ferrets error, it seems the f'd up email system does not recognise or has problems with their account. Better safe than sorry and don't count on UWS email system. I don't even get half my emails, one staff member had 3,000 emails go missing, only to turn up 3 years later.

Anyway, one of my friends got rejected by mistake last week, lol, lol, lol!

Some of his results screwed up, since he was applying as a non-standard. But still it's just not on, even though they would have probably found out by the late round. It shouldn't have happened, he was pretty upset about it. They didn't believe him when he rang up and they rang him the next day apologising. haha

i rang and apparently they didnt have my application there
so they asked me to scan it and send it to them
if ur in a similar situation - with a high umat etc
ring them!
