i think its based on what your principal circled for expected UAI and UMAT results.

I think UMAT results come out in a week or two.

a) out of the way for the hsc ealier
b) interviewes doesn't get too tired of hearing the same BS over and over

No idea. Hopefully it won't be long. The UMAT results are supposed to be released around my birthday (in a couple of weeks) so that could potentially be an awesome 18th birthday present.
